Koinoi Thnitoi return with the album “Ginomeno”; combining social observation, political anguish and musical evolution.
“We do not believe that art will change the world, but that with art as an ally, the change of the world acquires rhythm.”

The band Koinoi Thnitoi, which has managed to carve out an authentic path in the Greek alternative scene, released its new album titled “Ginomeno” on May 1, 2025 – a work that functions simultaneously as an artistic proposal and social commentary.
Based on their narrative hip-hop and their timeless characteristic of the combination of rock elements and Greek musical tradition, they highlight the aesthetics of their complex sound, mixing music and wordplay to create an immersive experience for the listener.
Koinoi Thnitoi present 10 songs that function as chapters of a poetic and political diary. Their lyrics remain direct, sharp and deeply reflective – sometimes charged with anger, sometimes with hope. The album was recorded at the band's home studio in Aliveri and in Athens from September 2023 to May 2024.
The song "Ginomeno", which also gave the album its title, is accompanied by an atmospheric and dynamic music video, filmed in Cuba, which captures with visual symbolism the social tensions, the loneliness of modern man but also the power of collectivity. The direction highlights the philosophy of Koinoi Thnitoi: art as a tool for awakening.
The album moves musically between instrumental arrangements and electronic passages, with strong melodies and vocal performances that serve the speech without overshadowing it. Each track is carefully structured so that it functions autonomously but also fits harmoniously into the overall narrative.
The album's release is accompanied by live performances in Athens and Thessaloniki, where the audience is expected to live an intensely charged and experiential experience.
