EJEKT Festival 2026 welcomes The Cure!

On Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at OAKA, the leading band of contemporary music will return to Greece as part of their European tour. This will be The Cure's first concert in our country after 7 years, when they appeared at EJEKT 2019 in front of over 30,000 spectators!

The amazing thing about The Cure is that while they are in the 5th decade of their incredibly successful career, they are currently in truly excellent condition. Their latest album “Songs Of A Lost World” was – without exaggeration – the best album of 2024 and was at the top of all the serious lists of that year. This is something that has simply never happened before in the history of music: such a big band releasing a new album after 16 years and leaving everyone speechless.

Combined with their incredibly good live performances, where Robert Smith's magical voice sounds exactly like on the albums, The Cure is an exception. A band that has never had its equal and that remains so special to this day.

This unique blend of goth-rock-pop that managed to capture so perfectly what the 80s and 90s were exactly like. Robert Smith's distinctive persona (with that haircut, the makeup, the red lipstick, the black clothes), the lyrics that dissect the complexity of the era (from irony to angst but also outbursts of joy) and his captivating British voice, have become a point of reference for 3 generations to this day.
